Indian Summer

Ahhh, the colors are just amazing. The chill in the air is gone for the most part. A reminder that summer has just past. AND my dogs hate it. They want their crisp, cold air back. They want more leaves to fall (oh please, anything but that) and they want the snow to start falling. I have a lot in common with my dogs. Hmmm, now that doesn't sound right but you get the gist. I don't care for warm weather - the colder the better. I love snow. And yes, when I was a kid I use to love to jump into the pile of leaves my dad had just raked. (Now I know how he felt!) There is a magazine called Windswept. It's about life in the weather observatory on top of Mount Washington. Last year they had 212 inches of snow fall. It was a very warm year!!! Now that may be a bit much but the dogs and I would give it a shot!! I would have to shovel paths for them first so shovel or rake every season has a down fall.
